Two Serbian citizens were injured last night in the Lapad area of Croatia, after several people damaged their car with clubs, reports Dubrovnik Daily.
A group of attackers smashed up a car with Serbian license plates using clubs during the night, according to the Croatian portal.
The incident occurred in the Lapad area of Croatia, and two people who were fleeing the attackers suffered minor physical injuries.
According to the portal, a vehicle with Zrenjanin license plates was damaged in the attack.
As can be seen in photographs published by Dubrovnik Daily, a red Mercedes was damaged, with its side completely scratched, the paint stripped off, while the windows and side mirror were also smashed.
The two people who were fleeing the attackers suffered minor physical injuries. It is not yet known whether they were injured by the attackers or sustained their injuries while fleeing.
The Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Department confirmed that the incident occurred last night, shortly before 2 a.m. One vehicle was damaged, while two Serbian citizens suffered minor physical injuries.
A criminal investigation is underway, after which more details about the incident are expected to become known.
