Red Star celebrated in the 177th eternal derby against Partizan with a result of 2:1.

The red and whites took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal by Elšnik after a scramble in the penalty box following a corner. Nemanja Radonjić doubled the lead in the 60th minute, with a precise shot from a difficult position.

Partizan reduced the score in the 74th minute through Jovan Milošević, who confirmed his good form, but failed to equalize by the end. He had the best chance in the 50th minute, when the ball was barely cleared from the penalty box after a scramble.

Red Star could have settled the match earlier – Marko Milošević saved a point-blank shot from Katai in the first half, while in the finish Janis Karabeljov cleared the ball off the goal line after a shot by Ivanić.

There were 26,254 spectators in the stands, and the derby was marked by a real fight.
