Elections are being repeated today at the “Elan” polling station in Kosjerić. Immediately upon the opening of polling station number 25, a large line of citizens formed, eager to cast their votes.
By 12 PM in Kosjerić, at polling station 25 “Elan,” where voting is being repeated, over 50% of registered voters had turned out, according to data from Kreni-Promeni.
In the preceding days, numerous SNS supporters, war veterans, and motorcyclists arrived in Kosjerić, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a siege.

“They have occupied two nearby cafes, but they have nowhere else to go because citizens of Kosjerić occupied the hotel this morning. All other caterers closed their establishments yesterday because they refuse to serve the occupiers. No matter how much they intimidate us, and they have partly succeeded by threatening job losses for families of public sector employees, the majority of citizens are enraged and revolted by what Vučić’s henchmen are doing in Kosjerić,” locals told Nova.rs this morning, taking the opportunity to stop in front of JKP Elan.

Obukli im uniforme, a među njima ima najviše onih koji jedva da su bili i rođeni tokom ratova '90-ih.

Clashes and Threats Reported
Radomir Lazović, a member of parliament from the Green-Left Front, told N1 that the situation in Kosjerić is tense today, and that his party colleague Bogdan Radovanović clashed this morning with individuals who, as he said, are intimidating citizens outside the polling station where elections are being repeated today.
Last night, an incident occurred between locals and these SNS newcomers, but the police quickly intervened.
On Sunday, civic activist Zoran Milić was attacked by a man not from Kosjerić, who showed police identification claiming to be security. Additionally, locals who do not support SNS have been experiencing threats and insults from the Progressives for days.
Consequently, the owners of numerous hospitality establishments decided to close their shops, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants so that these SNS newcomers could not use them.
As a reminder, the court previously ruled to repeat the elections at “Elan” because a voter who was not even registered on the electoral roll cast a ballot in the June 8 elections.
434 voters are eligible to vote in the elections at this polling station.
Election Details
Notably, three lists are participating in the Kosjerić elections: “We Won’t Give Up Serbia – Aleksandar Vučić,” “Russian Party – Serbia in BRICS! Slobodan Nikolić,” and “United for Kosjerić.”
On June 8, “United for Kosjerić” won 220 votes at that polling station, while SNS received 125.
The Municipal Election Commission (OIK) in Kosjerić had previously decided to repeat the elections at polling station number 25 on Tuesday, July 1, but only after the Higher Court in Užice ruled to annul the voting at that polling station.
