Vladimir Cvetkovic was buried today at 2 PM in the family tomb at the New Cemetery, according to the wishes of his family and loved ones. Hundreds of friends, associates, and acquaintances came to say goodbye to the legendary Cvele, who passed away last week, specifically on Djurdjevdan, at the age of 85.
In addition to public figures from the worlds of politics, culture, and business, the funeral was attended by representatives of FK Crvena Zvezda and KK Crvena Zvezda, as well as numerous friends and “rivals” from Partizan, with whom Vladimir Cvetkovic nurtured a good relationship.
We saw, for example, Zvezdan Terzic, Zeljko Drcelic, Zoran Avramovic, Marko Keselj, Branko Radujko, Zarko Zecevic, Predrag Mijatovic, Aleksandar Vucic, Gordan Petric, Dragan Dzajic, Vladimir Petrovic Pizon, Dragisa Binic, Branko Kovacevic, Mirko Pavlovic, Dragisa Vucinic, Zoran Timic Tima, Vladimir Savija, Sandra Sremcevic, Predrag Danilovic, Mladjan Silobad, Nebojsa Covic, Dejan Tomasevic, Mitar Mrkela, Marko Marin, Nikola Nikodijevic, Zoran Gajic, Zoran Filipovic, and many others.
Before the memorial service and funeral, a commemoration in Cvele’s honor was held today in the Media Center of the “Rajko Mitic” stadium, and we heard touching speeches that surely once again showed Cvele’s family how much he was loved.
