Novak Đoković continued to push the boundaries of human possibility at this year’s Wimbledon as well, writing the most beautiful pages of tennis history at just under 40 years of age.

It was precisely from this closest circle that a message arrived that instantly set social media on fire and attracted enormous global attention – an emotional message from his brother, Marko Đoković.
Marko, who has consciously and skillfully stayed away from the spotlight for years and rarely appears in public, this time felt the need to open his heart publicly. He spoke out shortly after Nole suffered a painful defeat in the Wimbledon semifinal against Jannik Sinner, wanting to remind the world who Novak truly is when the cameras are turned off.
The younger of the Đoković brothers did not want to talk about statistics and Grand Slam titles, but instead put the focus on Nole’s human greatness, which inspires millions.
“I am privileged to know you as the person you are and to have you as my brother. A big heart, a lot of character, generous and always ready to learn and improve, and most importantly, to become a better person,” Marko wrote in an emotional message that went viral around the world at lightning speed, above which he posted their photo together from the Olympic Games in Paris.
The two of them are watching beach volleyball, and at those Games Novak finally won the Olympic gold medal he had chased throughout his entire career.
Marko looked with admiration at the fact that Novak, despite being well into his fourth decade of life, is still teaching lessons to players half his age and dominating world tennis, which many experts consider an extraordinary sporting miracle.
“Seeing you still playing at the highest level, giving everything you have, and having the opportunity to cheer for and support you as you are almost 40 years old, it’s crazy,” the younger Đoković said with complete honesty.
At the very end of this touching letter, Marko emphasized the influence that the greatest tennis player of all time has on those closest to him, but above all on his own children, who see him as a true superhero.
“You are an inspiration to many people and a role model to your children. Thank you for being my older brother and for all the love you give to me and my family. We love you,” Marko Đoković concluded.
