US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this morning that the US encourages political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina to engage in constructive and responsible dialogue.
On X Platform, Rubio called on US partners in the region to join in opposing, as he stated, the “dangerous and destabilizing” behavior of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.

On Friday, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed a temporary measure and stopped the implementation of the laws passed by the RS Assembly, which prohibit the work of the Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, the police State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), as well as the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of that entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The forces of the European Union (EUFOR) announced that, as a preventive measure, they will temporarily strengthen their forces in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that the capabilities of that mission play a key role in the continuous support of security and stability in BiH.
Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, on Friday at an extraordinary press conference in Sarajevo, called on NATO to react and the Eufor mission to deploy its forces to key positions due to, as he claims, attempts to destabilize the state, following the first-instance verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, reports Tanjug.
