LEADERSHIP REFUSED TO SUPPORT STUDENTS: Entire committee of parliamentary party resigns, will support the Student list!

The President of the Municipal Committee of New Face of Serbia in Bajina Bašta has submitted an irrevocable resignation, while the entire municipal committee and councilors have decided to step down from the party. As the reason, they state deep disagreement with the decisions of the party leadership, and they have also messaged that they give full support to the student list.

The decision to leave New Face of Serbia was announced to the public, with the explanation that it is, above all, a “moral act.”

“In this way, I wish to inform you that I am submitting an irrevocable resignation from the position of President of the Municipal Committee of the ‘New Face of Serbia Bajina Bašta’ party. Also, the entire municipal committee and our councilors have made the decision to step down from the party,” the statement reads.

As the main reason for such a move, they stated “deep disagreement with the decisions coming from the very top of the party.”

“Our sole obligation is to provide maximum contribution to those who have the greatest chance to defeat this evil regime. For that reason, the decision to step down was made unanimously. I have repeated many times so far: ‘If we were better, things would be better for us,'” it is stated.

The former committee president also thanked the people he collaborated with during his membership in New Face of Serbia, specifically mentioning Ljubiša Babić Čuveni and Goran Mićić.

At the end of the statement, he conveys that their political struggle will not cease with leaving the party.

“Our struggle does not end here. The question is clear: Serbia or the mafia? Serbia, of course! Full support to the student list,” the statement concludes.
