Serbian tennis player Lana Virc (18) has become the European champion in the U18 category after winning the European Junior Championships held in Austria.

Virc defeated Slovakia’s Kali Supova in the final after a fierce three-set battle – 4–6, 7–6, 6–2.

The young Serbian tennis player has thus claimed her second European title this year. Before her individual success in Austria, Virc had already won the European U18 team championship with the Serbian national team.

This result continues a string of major successes for the young Serbian tennis player. Two years ago, she was also named the best U16 player in Europe by Tennis Europe.

With two European titles in a single year, Lana has once again confirmed that she belongs among the very best in European junior tennis.
