Voja, an activist of Zbor Rakovica, who was recently attacked and kidnapped for several hours in Resnik, told N1 what happened that evening. He said that in the vehicle, into which they threw him that evening and drove him in an unknown direction, they beat him from time to time and threatened him, and that the attackers forced him to film himself admitting to possessing narcotics.

“At the moment of the conflict, after the attack on the three of us happened, I fled to Univerexport, expecting that I would be safe there, but they pulled me out, five-six-seven of them, I don’t even know how many there were. They pulled me out of Univerexport around 9 p.m., I don’t know what time it was, without any masks and without any need to hide. They pulled me out of there and after that beat me in front of the shop and threw me into a car and drove me in an unknown direction, so I literally feared for my life, where I would end up and what would happen to me,” the Zbor Rakovica activist told N1.

Asked what those attackers said to the citizens who were in that store, Voja said that they were shouting something.

“I remember that later, when we left Univerexport, they were shouting something along the lines of catching a pedophile and stories like that, probably to mitigate what they were doing,” he said.

In the vehicle, into which they threw him after beating him and driving him in an unknown direction, as Voja claims, they threatened and beat him from time to time.

“They asked for information on how we are organized, who pays us and so on. There were constant threats, about how it would be because of an attack on an official person. After that, when they drove me in an unknown direction and when they threw me out on that meadow, they started with more threats and besides that, they were filming me, that is, they forced me to film myself admitting that I possess narcotics and how that is their proof that they can charge me for it,” Voja said.

The activist stated that they later drove him and threatened to take him to the “November 29th” police station.

“But then a moment happened when they found out that their names were published and that the N1 team would come to film a report about it, since they were looking at my phone, and then they changed the story a bit and said just not to give any interviews and that everything can pass fine, just not to spread the story and not to publish their names,” said the beaten Zbor Rakovica activist.

When asked if it was true that they tried to bribe him, activist Voja said that they “did not present it as a bribe, but that it could be interpreted that way.”

“They said it was like compensation for them breaking my glasses and knocking off my sneakers,” he stated.

Activist Voja said that he still feels mentally exhausted and is still under trauma.

“Physically, the consequences are still visible. I still fear a bit because of everything that might follow now… Fortunately, the injuries are not long-term, there is no bleeding or internal fractures, so from that side I fared well,” he added.

As a reminder, Zbor Rakovica activist Voja filed a criminal complaint against the persons he recognized as the attackers, his lawyer Vladimir Tupanjac told N1 earlier.
