Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Krusevac arrested L. B. (21) and A. K. (19) due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of murder.
They are suspected of inflicting multiple stab wounds with a sharp object on a twenty-two-year-old young man, Aleksandar G., in a city park in Krusevac last night around 9:40 p.m. and fleeing.
Aleksandar was stabbed on the street and left at the site of the attack. Passers-by soon found him and immediately called the police and Emergency Services. The injured young man was urgently transported to the hospital, but despite the efforts of doctors, he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation shows that the crime was preceded by a personal conflict. According to unofficial reports by Telegraf, the suspected man allegedly owed money to Aleksandar. The two of them agreed to meet on the street, where a verbal and physical conflict subsequently occurred, which escalated into violence. On that occasion, the debtor, according to the same allegations, pulled out a knife and dealt Aleksandar fatal injuries.
The young man died from his injuries at the General Hospital, and through intensive work, the police soon identified and arrested the suspects.
By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office, they have been detained for up to 48 hours, after which they will be brought before the prosecutor along with a criminal complaint.
