The president of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, stated for the Russian news agency RIA Novosti that the arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Banja Luka is expected on the occasion of the opening of the Russian-Serbian temple.

Dodik stated that what he had previously discussed with Putin was confirmed, reports Klix.ba, citing writing from RIA Novosti.

“I confirmed what we had previously agreed upon. We will wait, whenever that is possible. Whenever he is able, we will do it,” Dodik said.

He also reminded that he met with the Russian president in Moscow during the commemoration of May 9, Victory Day, and pointed out that agreements on several issues were reached on that occasion. “Agreements on several issues were reached there,” Dodik added.

He also announced a new visit to Moscow at the end of September. “The only thing I know for sure is that I will be in Moscow on September 25,” Dodik said.

Speaking about Europe, Dodik assessed that it has lost economic strength and that it depends on energy sources and markets from other countries.

“Europe has lost everything it could, it no longer has an economy. It has to come here for energy and markets. How Russia will position itself towards that issue is a matter for the Russian leadership,” Dodik stated.
