Members of the Montenegro Mountain Rescue Service set out this morning on a rescue mission to locate five Israeli nationals who became lost in the Durmitor area, near Savin Kuk.

The call for help was received at around 6:00 a.m. through the 112 Operational and Communication Center of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue of Montenegro’s Ministry of the Interior.

According to the statement, the foreign nationals became lost in the Savin Kuk area and were unable to continue their journey safely.

Rescue teams immediately headed to the scene upon receiving the report and are currently conducting a search operation and working to evacuate them safely.

More information is expected once the operation has been completed.
