Luka Dončić, the Slovenian basketball player and Dallas Mavericks star, experienced a major unpleasantness when an unknown person broke into his home and stole jewelry worth $30,000.
Dallas police have issued a statement regarding the incident.
As reported by American media, citing a police statement, the burglary occurred when an unknown person broke through a bathroom window.
The police report obtained by “The Dallas Morning News” states that the burglar took advantage of the fact that no one was home and between 5 pm and 9 pm, broke the bathroom window, entered, and stole jewelry worth about $30,000.
Dončić, who is injured and is expected to be out for about a month, was not at home at the time, nor were any members of his family.
“Fortunately, everyone is safe. Luka has filed a police report and an investigation is underway,” said Lara Beth Seager, Dončić’s associate.
