Novak Đoković is set to travel to the United States soon, but this time the reason is not the US Open. The greatest tennis player of all time will be a special guest on the popular show “The Shop,” hosted by NBA superstar LeBron James.
The recording is scheduled for Friday, July 17, in New York. Alongside Đoković and LeBron, the episode will also feature LeBron’s longtime business partner Maverick Carter, comedian Paul Rivera, and actor and rapper Travis Bennett.
Because of his stay in New York, there is a realistic possibility that Novak will be among the guests at the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain just two days later.
The championship match will be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, located just a few dozen kilometers from Manhattan, making it entirely possible that the greatest tennis player of all time will attend one of the biggest sporting events of the year in person.
If he does appear in the stands, many will wonder which team he will be supporting. Over the past several years, Đoković has met Lionel Messi on multiple occasions, while the Argentine legend has publicly spoken about how much he respects the Serbian star and has attended several of his matches in person.
Because of their friendly relationship, many believe Novak could be cheering for Argentina in the final.
