While many only talk about their big dreams, Petar Ognjenović lives his every day. A top basketball player, a member of the Serbian national team and a silver medalist at the World 3×3 Basketball Championship for the deaf and hard of hearing. On top of that, he was also named the author of the best three-pointer of the championship.

And when the games are over and the spotlights go out, Petar returns to everyday life. During the day, he does physical work, rolls up his sleeves and honestly earns his living.

And that is precisely what makes his story so great.

There are no excuses, no shame in doing manual work, no giving up. The same man who represents Serbia at the World Championship goes back to work diligently the very next day, just like anyone else.

His story is proof that success does not come through shortcuts. Sometimes the road to a medal is paved with sweat, exhaustion, hard work and sacrifice.

Petar is an example to young people that no honest job is beneath anyone and that true champions are not recognized only by their medals, but also by what kind of people they are when there is no audience.

A worker by day, a champion on the court. A man to look up to.
