A large crowd of participants in the protest “Serbia, Can You Hear Us” has arrived in front of the Faculty of Philosophy, and the situation is tense.
People are jumping and chanting “whoever doesn’t jump is a supporter of the government,” and a young, muscular man, dressed in black with his face covered, has lit a flare.
There is a police cordon in front of the faculty.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) announced that it has information that participants in the unregistered gathering in Novi Sad intend to attack the police located in front of the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (DIF) in the city.
They are warning all those gathered to respect the law and not to attack the police.
“Otherwise, the police will be forced to react and take all legally prescribed measures to protect their own lives, safety, and maintain stable public order and peace,” the statement said.

A police cordon has also been deployed in front of the Faculty of Philosophy and the DIF in Novi Sad, where a large protest against police brutality and for university autonomy began tonight at the corner of Bulevar Cara Lazara and Stražilovska Street.
After the speeches, at 8:35 PM, the students called on those gathered to move toward the Faculty of Philosophy.

The Novi Sad DIF is about 300 meters away from the Faculty of Philosophy, but the situation there is completely different.
For now, citizens are passing normally, and there is no tension. The police have lowered their shields, but our reporter reports that she is located between two police cordons who have both black and white helmets.
