The Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, said today that there are no immediate plans to deploy the National Guard in Chicago, which was previously announced by the American President Donald Trump.
“There are no immediate plans for the deployment of the National Guard in Chicago,” Vance told reporters today, as reported by Reuters.
Trump previously said that he would confront the Democrats who lead major American cities, such as Chicago, and that he would start a fight against crime, even though city officials point out that the crime rate has been significantly reduced.
