CITIZEN OF SERBIA ARRESTED AND EXPELLED FROM MONTENEGRO: Beat his partner, then published her intimate video!

D.R. (40) from the Republic of Serbia was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of domestic violence and the criminal offense of unauthorized publication and display of another person’s document, portrait and recording.

Budva police filed a criminal complaint against a citizen of Serbia on suspicion of beating his common-law wife and unauthorizedly publishing her intimate video. The man was also expelled from Montenegro with a measure of prohibition of entry into that country.

-Police officers of the Budva Security Department, in cooperation with the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor, filed a criminal complaint against D.R. (40) from the Republic of Serbia on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of domestic violence or in the family community and the criminal offense of unauthorized publication and display of another person’s document, portrait and recording, after which the foreign affairs inspector issued him a decision on leaving Montenegro and a ban on entry – announced the Police Administration of Montenegro.

It is suspected that on September 5, around 3 p.m., in a restaurant in Budva, D.R. threatened to attack his common-law wife, also a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, and then on September 6, in the early morning hours, physically attacked her in the apartment where they were staying, at the same time addressing her with insulting and threatening words and causing her injuries that were later confirmed by a medical report.

Then, as is reasonably suspected, on September 11, through an application, he made a video with intimate content available to a third party, in which his common-law wife was.

The state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor, who qualified the criminal offenses and who, after hearing D.R., ceded the case to the Republic of Serbia for further jurisdiction, was informed about the event.
