Thirteen-year-old David Ivković, a student at the “Vožd Karađorđe” Elementary School in Aleksinac, finished third at the Hippo Play-Off Olympiad in English language proficiency, held in Cluj, Romania.

David demonstrated exceptional knowledge in the competition against students from numerous countries around the world in the final test, which contained 40 challenging questions. His achievement is particularly impressive because he was the only competitor representing Serbia in Cluj.

Behind his success are tremendous effort, knowledge and dedication, as well as the support of his teacher and mentor Valentina Žiković, who stood by David throughout the competition.

The bronze medal from Cluj represents another major achievement for the young boy from Aleksinac and confirmation that hard work and knowledge always pay off in the end.
