[Serbian athlete Adriana Vilagoš] won the gold medal in the javelin throw at the Mediterranean Games.

The Serbian athlete crowned an incredible final in Taranto by securing the top prize with her final throw.

In the first few rounds, it was clear who the battle for the medals would be between. They were Vilagoš, Croatia’s Sara Kolak and Spain’s Yulenmi Aguilar Martinez. The latter was at the top of the podium for most of the final, having thrown 65.39 in the second round, which was also a personal best.

Vilagoš, on the other hand, was in third place, but everything came down to her final throw, which flew 65.93 meters.

The javelin flew an incredible distance, and when the result was displayed, Adriana and the entire stadium went into a frenzy.

An incredible achievement for the Serbian athlete, who recently won bronze at the European Championships in Birmingham.
