The Minister of Internal Affairs and president of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, who was hospitalized at the Clinic for Pulmonology of the Clinical Center of Serbia due to severe pneumonia, has been removed from artificial ventilation and is breathing independently, Tanjug learns from the SPS.
The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar, stated earlier today that Dacic’s health condition is better than it was, adding that there are reasons for optimism, but also that measures of intensive treatment and therapy are continuing.
“His current condition is better than it was, which gives us reason for optimism. What is important is that much work lies ahead; measures of intensive treatment and the application of intensive therapy continue. That is what I will say at this moment, and the people treating him will explain it in more detail during the day,” Loncar told reporters after visiting the Kumodraz-1 health station, a branch of the Vozdovac Health Center.
Minister Dacic was hospitalized on Wednesday evening at the Clinic for Pulmonology of the Clinical Center of Serbia due to severe bilateral pneumonia.
