All primary and secondary schools in Novi Pazar received a report about an alleged bomb placement, Euronews Serbia learns. Also, bomb threats arrived at six schools in Gornji Milanovac. Threats also arrived at schools in the territories of Belgrade, Niš, and Jagodina.
Classes in the first shift in Novi Pazar did not even start, as the email was noticed this morning before students entered the classrooms. Children were evacuated, and the police and anti-sabotage teams are on the ground, thoroughly inspecting the school facilities.
Parents have been notified, and the police emphasize that the safety of students and teaching staff is the priority.
In Gornji Milanovac, the threat arrived at four primary schools, one school in Takovo, and the Technical High School.
Police teams are on site, and an anti-sabotage inspection is being carried out, as stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Euronews Serbia.
Also, bomb threats arrived at several schools in the territory of Prijepolje, which is why the children were evacuated and the police are conducting inspections, Tanjug was told by the Police Administration in Prijepolje. These are primary and secondary schools.
At the same time, emails about planted explosive devices arrived at several schools in the territory of Vranje even before the children came to school.
A threat also arrived at the “Jovan Miodragović” school. Children were evacuated, and they can return after the police inspection. Parents report that a threat also arrived at the “Veselin Masleša” school in Belgrade.
In the primary school “Živko Ljujić” in Nova Varoš, a bomb threat was also reported this morning, but the police inspection of the school premises determined that it was a false report, said the mayor Branko Bjelić.
“After the inspection, it was determined that it was a false report, so classes resumed after the first period,” Bjelić said.
A report about a planted explosive device was also received in Šid.
