Former President of the United States, Joseph Biden, recently underwent surgery to remove skin cancer from his forehead, his spokesperson confirmed to the newspaper The Hill.
According to the announcement, Biden underwent the Mohs surgical technique, in which layers of skin are gradually removed and examined under a microscope until no traces of cancerous cells are visible.
In the days following the surgery, a video appeared on social media showing Biden with a visible scar on his forehead as he left a church in Delaware.
Biden had previously had non-melanoma forms of skin cancer, which he had removed before his presidential term. During a medical examination in 2023, while still in office, a cancerous lesion was also removed from his chest.

Biden is 82 years old, and his health has long been a subject of political speculation.
President of the United States Donald Trump and other Republicans have repeatedly claimed that Biden is not capable of making decisions on his own, which his team has strongly denied.
