The NBA league champion will be decided after a full 9 years and the famous Cleveland and Golden State finals by a master game, the seventh game. Indiana Pacers basketball players fought for it by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder with 108:91 in the sixth game of the playoff finals, thus tying the series at 3:3!
The seventh, decisive game will be played overnight between Sunday and Monday Central European Time.
The Pacers played a great match and in their “Gainbridge Fieldhouse Arena in Indianapolis” they outclassed the Thunder in three quarters, leading by more than 30 points, so the last 12 minutes were a mere formality.
Already after three minutes of play and Oklahoma’s initial lead of 8:2, Rick Carlisle’s players, whom many had already written off, showed great motivation and desire to take the series to a decisive game, and after a relatively uncertain first quarter (28:25), they made a huge run in the second.

Tyrese Haliburton, who was uncertain for this game due to injury, played great, Oklahoma fell apart and the Pacers quickly led by 22 points by halftime (64:42).
Nothing changed in the continuation. At the end of the third quarter, the difference was 30 points, so the visiting coach Mark Daigneault “threw in the towel” and sent reserves onto the court in the last quarter.
The Pacers played like in a trance, saved their opponent’s first match point and scheduled a decisive game, which will be played in Oklahoma City on Sunday at 7 PM (Chicago time), more precisely at 2 AM Serbian time.
