Former frontman of the band Hladno pivo, Mile Kekin, has been arrested during a USKOK operation, and an official statement has now been issued regarding the case.

Mile was arrested along with several other individuals during this operation, and it is suspected that the case involves real estate fraud, specifically related to the Municipality of Buje and Mile Kekin’s house.

The arrest and urgent investigative actions are being carried out by PNUSKOK under the order of USKOK.

“These actions are being conducted in Zagreb and the Istria region in connection with several individuals who are reasonably suspected of committing multiple criminal offenses of abuse of position and authority, as well as money laundering. After questioning the suspects, USKOK will decide on the further course of action in this case, and the public will be promptly informed,” stated USKOK.

It should be recalled that Ivana Kekin, a parliamentary representative of the Možemo platform and a candidate in the last presidential elections, recently drew public attention due to a luxury villa in Momjan, Istria, which she owns together with her husband, Mile Kekin, former frontman of Hladno pivo.

The villa, named Volare e Cantare, has a surface area of 130 m² and is equipped with a heated pool. It is rented to tourists at a price of 300 to 500 euros per night, depending on the season. According to data from the property declaration, the villa, along with the associated land of 412 m², is valued at 400,000 euros.
