We’ve been waiting almost 20 days for this to happen again, and Nikola Jović was ready to seize the opportunity immediately. He was on the court for the first time since November 25th and immediately showed how much he means to Miami in their 114:104 victory over Toronto.
Erik Spolstra decided to bring Jović back into the rotation, and he repaid him in the best possible way.
The Serbian national team player scored 14 points in 22 minutes (2/3 from two, 2/2 from three, 4/7 free throws), and also added four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.
He literally did everything on the court, just like his mentor Jimmy Butler, who is now on his way out of Miami. More precisely, the Florida team is ready to listen to all offers and it is expected that the first to do so will be the Denver Nuggets.
