Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has broken his own record for the number of live television appearances in a single month.
According to data from the Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA), by 11 a.m. on August 18, 64 live appearances by the President of Serbia had been counted. The previous record was 61 appearances, set in March 2025.
This means that August 2026 has already become the month in which Vučić made the most live appearances since CRTA began tracking this data. However, the month is not yet over, so the number of appearances could increase further.
CRTA had reported several days earlier that during the first 11 days of August, Vučić had appeared live on television as many as 49 times. The organization then assessed that the president’s media presence was “as if he were campaigning.”
According to CRTA’s analysis at the time, his appearances were broadcast by 25 television stations, including public broadcasters and channels with national coverage. During the first 11 days of August last year, Vučić appeared live 24 times, meaning this year’s figure for the same period was more than twice as high.
