After the attempted blockade breach of the Rectorate in Kragujevac by Rector Vladimir Ranković yesterday morning, the situation this morning is as follows – citizens gathered outside to prevent employees from entering, reports an N1 reporter.

The citizens came to the side entrance of the Rectorate to prevent employees from entering.

The employees, as reported by N1, came to work at the rector’s call.

“The rector violently jumped over colleagues to enter the building; we didn’t want to get into a physical altercation with anyone. They used force, we stood peacefully at the door. We are currently thinking about what to do, but we will stay here until we come up with a solution,” said Miona, a student who is inside the Rectorate.

As a reminder, the rector said yesterday that the administration must work, otherwise the entire University would be jeopardized. He said then that no one would kick the students out and that they were not the problem, but that employees had to enter the Rectorate.

Citizens, incidentally, kept watch outside the Rectorate last night.
