Young Serbian chemists won five medals and one special award at the International Chemistry Tournament in South Korea.

It is reported that, competing against teams from around the world, the Serbian team won a bronze medal in the team competition, while the team members won four medals and one special award in the individual competition.

In the individual competition, Andrej Drobnjaković won a gold medal and a special award for Best Reviewer, Una Vujadinović won a silver medal, while Irina Alimpijević and Jovan Kulezić won bronze medals.

The team was led at the competition, held from August 15 to 19 in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, by mentor Dimitrije Gligorovski.

The International Chemistry Tournament (IChTo 2026) is one of the most demanding and prestigious team chemistry competitions, held annually since 2017.
