Miomir Kecmanović couldn’t do anything against Novak Djokovic in their Wimbledon third-round match. The greatest tennis player of all time defeated his younger compatriot 6-3, 6-0, 6-4, securing his 100th victory at the third Grand Slam of the season.
In the fourth round, he will play against Alex de Minaur from Australia.
Novak Djokovic and Miomir Kecmanović put on a Serbian show for the fans on Centre Court, as well as all viewers watching the match on TV. However, the older and more experienced player, Novak, claimed the victory with a 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 win.
The match started with high intensity. Kecmanović wasn’t intimidated and tried to wear Novak down in every way, succeeding only until 3-3 in the first set. Then, they played a point that brought everyone to their feet. Nole and Miša created a true spectacle, the crowd was delighted, and a thunderous applause was their reward.
From that moment until the start of the third set, there was only one tennis player on the court—Novak Djokovic. From 3-3, Nole strung together nine consecutive games. He won the first set 6-3, and then the second in just 24 minutes with a dominant 6-0. Notably, Novak has delivered the most “bagels” (6-0 sets) in Grand Slam history, with this being his 51st.
Done. Dusted. Djokovic.

He is followed by Andre Agassi with 50, Roy Emerson with 47, Roger Federer with 46, and so on. Interestingly, Nole also won a set 6-0 against Kecmanović in their previous Wimbledon encounter in 2022, dishing out a “bagel” in the first set in 25 minutes, and now in the second set in 24 minutes.
Kecmanović opened the third set by winning his service game, which drew ovations on Centre Court. But from then on, Djokovic again took the lead. He made one break, then another, and it seemed all was over. Or so it seemed, as Kecmanović broke back once, won his service game, and narrowed the score to 5-4, forcing Novak to serve for the match again.
Milestone met. The journey continues…

In the fourth round, Djokovic will play against Australian Alex de Minaur, the world’s 11th-ranked player. They have met three times so far, with Nole leading their head-to-head record 2-1. Last year, they were supposed to play in the quarterfinals, but the Australian withdrew without a fight. At last year’s Monte Carlo Masters, Nole won 7-5, 6-4.
