Serbian footballer Alegra Poljak has become a new player of Atlético Madrid and will wear the Spanish club’s jersey until 2028.

This transfer represents a significant step forward for Poljak, who joins the famous Madrid club after spending two seasons with their city rivals, Madrid CFF.

Atlético Madrid, which finished the previous season in fifth place in the Spanish league, has announced high ambitions for the upcoming campaign with this move. The excellent performances Poljak delivered in the jersey of Madrid CFF and the Serbian national team were the best recommendation for a move to one of the biggest clubs in Spain.

Alegra Poljak developed as a footballer at Spartak Subotica, where she also began her professional career. After that, her path took her to Hungarian side Ferencváros, where she spent two seasons before moving to Spain.

Before arriving in Madrid, she played for several Spanish clubs, including Granadilla, Real Sociedad, Levante and Las Palmas, gaining valuable experience in one of the strongest leagues in Europe. Alongside her club career, Poljak has also had a phenomenal international career wearing the Serbian national team jersey.
