The citizen of Serbia who was seriously wounded in Barcelona earlier today is a member of the Škaljari clan, Krsto Vujić, Podgorica’s Vijesti reported tonight.

As stated, Vujić was on the terrace of a bar in the Diagonal Mar neighborhood in Barcelona with his wife and child when, shortly before 4 p.m., unknown attackers fired in his direction.

Vijesti reports that he was hit by four bullets and that Vujić was transferred to the hospital in critical condition.

Previously, the Spanish El Caso reported that three unknown attackers seriously wounded an unnamed citizen of Serbia in Barcelona, firing five shots at him before fleeing.

Strong police forces, including special units, were sent to the scene of the attack in Barcelona, and a search for the attackers has been launched.

According to charges from the Special State Prosecutor’s Office of Montenegro (SDT), Vujić and the alleged leader of the Škaljari clan, Igor Vukotić, are the organizers of the criminal group responsible for the murder of Šćepan Roganović from Herceg Novi.

Vijesti reports that, in addition to organizing the murder of Roganović, Vujić is also on trial due to charges that he, along with Zoran Mrvaljević, Slobodan Vico, Jovan Žmukić, and Jovo Riznić, planned the liquidation of Nemanja Zurovac from Herceg Novi, an alleged member of the Kavač clan.
