A seventy-seven-year-old citizen of Serbia passed away this morning on a well-known beach in Halkidiki, it was confirmed in an official statement by the Greek Port Authority.
The unfortunate woman was pulled from the sea in an unconscious state on the beach in Hanioti. Emergency services (EKAB) were immediately called to the scene, and they transported the woman to the Health Center in Kassandreia, where doctors, unfortunately, could only pronounce her dead.

In the official statement of the competent authorities, it is stated:
“The Port Authority of Nea Moudania was informed in the morning hours that a 77-year-old foreign national of Serbia was pulled unconscious from the sea in the area of Hanioti beach in the municipality of Kassandra. Emergency services transported her to the Kassandreia Health Center, where death was pronounced”
The body of the deceased will be transferred to the Forensic Medicine Service in Thessaloniki, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
