In the abandoned complex of the former “Azotara,” an 18-year-old young man fell from a roof after losing his balance, and according to unofficial information, his 16-year-old friend reacted immediately and called for help after the accident.

Last night around 7 p.m., in the abandoned complex of the former “Azotara” in Novi Sad, an 18-year-old young man was seriously injured after falling from a height. A tragedy was avoided thanks to the quick reaction of his friend (16).

At the moment of the accident, the young man was on the roof of the facility in the company of his friend, who is a Russian citizen.

As unofficially learned from a source close to the investigation, the two of them were consuming alcohol, after which the young man lost his balance while turning and fell onto the pavement inside the complex.

Girl called for help immediately

Despite the dramatic situation, the 16-year-old girl remained composed. She first tried to move the injured young man to safety, and then she immediately called the police. Upon arrival at the scene, the patrol found both participants of the event.

The young man sustained severe physical injuries during the fall.

The police conducted an investigation at the scene, and the competent prosecutor was informed of everything.
