Workers of the Gračanica Health Center and associated clinics held a protest due to the arrest of five directors of Serbian educational and health institutions in Kosovo and Metohija.
The employees stopped working for an hour and stood in silence in white coats in front of this health institution, thereby expressing dissatisfaction with the action of the prosecution in Pristina and the Kosovo police.
Among those detained is the director of this institution, Mirjana Dimitrijević.
Attorney Nebojša Boričić, who represents Boban Petrović, the director of the Electrical Engineering School in Gračanica, confirmed that the detainees were ordered to be held in custody for up to 48 hours.
The prosecution in Pristina, in cooperation with the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption of the Kosovo Police, announced that the detained persons were involved in illegal activities related to the criminal offense of “violating the free will of voters.”
