Famous British chef Jamie Oliver is currently staying in Belgrade, and he began his day in the Serbian capital with a visit to one of the local markets in New Belgrade.
His arrival among the stalls full of fresh fruit, vegetables, and domestic products surprised many citizens who happened to be at the market at that moment.
In a relaxed and visibly good atmosphere, Oliver had the opportunity to taste domestic cheeses, kaymak, and cured meat specialties, and he did not hide his delight with the colors, scents, and flavors of the traditional Serbian market. During the tour, he spoke with vendors and passersby, took photos with fans, and enjoyed the authentic ambiance of the city.
Although it might be expected that Serbian cuisine would inspire him the most during his stay, the famous chef has a different plan for today’s culinary appearance. Jamie Oliver, known for his love of Mediterranean gastronomy, announced that he will present to the domestic audience – the best Italian specialties.
Jamie Oliver is a British chef, husband, and father, born on May 27, 1975, in London. He developed a love for cooking very early on, working in his parents’ restaurant, where as a child he first came into contact with a professional kitchen.
