By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, the deputy commander of Intervention Unit 92 of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade, who had been wanted, has also been arrested, RTS has learned.
Deputy commander of Intervention Unit 92 of the Duty Service of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade, M. J., was arrested on suspicion that he, together with colleagues from the Intervention Unit, prevented the prosecution of Saša Vuković “Bosketa” after, on November 5 last year, in the “Steak and Wine Bar” venue, in the presence of numerous guests, he opened fire following a verbal altercation with Miloš Nilović known as “Runjo”, RTS learns.
Previously, at the proposal of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, the court ordered detention for up to 30 days for the commander of Intervention Unit 92 of the Duty Service of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade, Dušan N., and the leader of an intervention team, Nikola K., who were arrested and questioned yesterday on the same charges.
Detention of up to 30 days was ordered so they would not influence witnesses or repeat the criminal offense in a short period of time.
Dušan N. and Nikola K. denied their guilt at yesterday’s hearing.
The remaining suspects in this case will be questioned today.
The suspects were arrested yesterday, while Boske is already in custody.
