In the traffic accident that occurred on the main road between Novi Pazar and Raška, four people perished, while two were injured.
One injured person is in the General Hospital in Novi Pazar, while the other person was urgently transferred to Belgrade.
This accident occurred on Tuesday at 23:30, and the collision took place between an “Opel Astra” and a “Golf 7” car.
The police confirmed information that the accident occurred due to overtaking and inappropriate speed.
The person operating the “Golf 7” vehicle had a probationary driver’s license.
The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered an autopsy, after which all the causes of this traffic accident will be known.
The latest information from Novi Pazar is that tomorrow, a Day of Mourning will be declared at the city level due to this traffic accident.
