Graffiti glorifying the terrorist organization KLA was written last night on the family house of the Jovanović family in the village of Mogila in the municipality of Vitina. The threatening inscriptions on the house wall and the fence were noticed this morning by the head of the family, Radoslav, who lives in the house with his son Miloš, the Office for KiM announced.

This is a deliberate provocation toward the Serbian people and the spreading of ethnic hatred and intolerance in this majority-Serb environment. It is well known how much Serbs suffered at the hands of the criminal organization KLA, and any mention of them causes additional fear and unrest in Serbian communities, the Office for KiM emphasizes.

While the so-called Kosovo police detain and punish Serbs without any basis, even for inscriptions on T-shirts with fan club insignia, at the same time, no one has been held accountable for such threatening messages addressed to our people, nor have those responsible for writing such graffiti ever been sanctioned, even though their obvious intention is intimidation and raising tensions, according to the Office.

We expect and demand that those responsible be discovered and adequately sanctioned, and that the international community approach such examples with the utmost seriousness and attention, the Office requested.
