The president of the Serbian List, Zlatan Elek, has resigned from his position as a member of parliament in the central assembly in Pristina, announced the president of that body, Albulena Haxhiu.
Branislav Nikolić was appointed to Elek’s position and took the oath of office, Albanian-language media reported.
The reason for Zlatan Elek’s resignation was not announced in the assembly, and the Serbian List, which holds nine out of the 10 guaranteed seats for the Serbian community in parliament, has not yet issued a statement.
