Novak Djokovic and Spanish authorities have found a solution: demolition.

In addition to a fine that the Serbian tennis player will have to pay for work on his villa in Marbella, the Belgrade native will have to remove certain auxiliary structures for which he did not have a building permit.

“La Opinion de Malaga” writes that the real issues are a porch, an outdoor shower, and the conversion of a basement into a garage.

An interesting parallel could be drawn with the situation in Serbia, where authorities are building a “National Stadium” without building or occupancy permits.

“The municipality warned the Serbian ace in February 2025 to rectify the irregularities within two months—which did not happen. This is the third fine since he bought the villa in Marbella in 2020, bringing the total sum to €15,000,” writes “Nova.”

We remind you that the Djokovics fell in love with the villa while staying in Marbella as tenants, paying around €10,000 per week.
