A banner with the inscription “Better Ćaci than a Nazi” appeared this morning on the Niš Fortress, with a swastika between the lines and the signature “We won’t give up Niš.”

The banner was hung high on the “Stambol Gate,” which serves as the main entrance to the Niš Fortress.

The “Kreni-promeni” (Start-Change) movement published a video of the fortress with this banner, in which it condemned the “shameful campaign of the Serbian Progressive Party, in which students and all protesting citizens are called Nazis.”

To recall, the message on the banner refers to a statement by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who uttered it when condemning the attack on students who want to study, specifically Miloš Pavlović, with whom he recorded a video message and stated that “the state suffered and remained silent, but will now react.”
