Serbian tennis player Aleksandra Krunić and her partner from Kazakhstan Ana Danilina advanced to the quarterfinals of Roland Garros in the doubles competition, continuing an impressive streak without a lost set at this year’s tournament.

The two of them justified their role as favorites in the round of 16 as well, as they defeated the Ukrainian pair Anhelina Kalinina/Dayana Yastremska with a score of 6:4, 6:4.

The match lasted an hour and a half, and Krunić and Danilina, despite occasional difficulties, managed to maintain control and reach their third consecutive victory at the tournament with a maximum score.

The Serbian-Kazakhstani tandem thus continued their march towards the title at the second Grand Slam of the season. Additional confidence is instilled in them by the fact that last year they reached the finals of Roland Garros, and this season they have the opportunity to take a step further and get a hold of the trophy.
