There is no more dilemma – Partizan will open the ABA league finals in Dubai! The Black and Whites addressed the public with an official statement and confirmed that they have accepted the security guarantees from the United Arab Emirates, putting an end to all stories about a possible relocation of the series or a change of host.
The reigning champion of the regional competition will start its quest for a new title precisely from Dubai, where the first two games of the final series will be played. From Humska, they said that at no point did they want to seek a privileged position. “As the most decorated club in the region, Partizan has never chosen where to face its opponent, but has always and everywhere fought for honor and victory! That is how it will be this time as well,” the club’s statement reads.
Kao najtrofejniji klub u regionu, Partizan nikada nije birao gde će izaći na megdan, već se uvek i svuda borio za čast i pobedu! Tako će biti i ovog puta. ✊🏽

It was specially emphasized that the Black and Whites received firm guarantees that no team would be in a subordinate position due to off-court circumstances, after which the decision was made for the finals to be played according to the original plan. Partizan also has an additional challenge ahead. In its previous away games in Dubai, it failed to reach a victory, but in the camp of the Black and Whites, they believe that the time has come to break that tradition as well.
The first game of the final series is scheduled for June 4, the second will be played two days later, while the battle for the trophy then moves to the Belgrade Arena, where Partizan will try to defend the championship cup in front of its fans.
The delegation of the Black and Whites is departing for Dubai as early as Tuesday, and now it is clear – the grand finale of the ABA league begins in the Middle East.
