This is the 29th day of the war of Israel and America against Iran. In an Iranian strike on the Prince Sultan U.S. base in Saudi Arabia, 20 soldiers were wounded, two of them seriously.
Today marks the 29th day of the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran, and the conflict is becoming more intense and brutal by the day. Iranian forces struck the Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia with drones and missiles, wounding 20 American soldiers.
The base was hit by six ballistic missiles and 29 drones. At the same time, a major Iranian ally from Yemen, the Houthi movement, officially entered the war today on Iran’s side and launched missiles toward Israel. This further worsens the situation for the West and maritime traffic and trade and will certainly affect the global economic situation.
The Houthis could thus establish control over the second most important strait connecting the Gulf of Aden with the Red Sea – Bab el-Mandeb – by targeting Western tankers and commercial ships.
New wave of missiles from Iran
The Israeli army announced that a new wave of missiles from Iran has begun, the seventh today.
Meanwhile, sirens sounded in parts of northern Israel, including the city of Ma’alot-Tarshiha, due to Hezbollah rocket attacks, writes The Times of Israel.

Iran approved passage of 20 Pakistani ships through the Strait of Hormuz
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Iran approved passage for 20 ships under the Pakistani flag through the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a “sign of peace.”
According to the agreement, Iran will allow two Pakistani ships to pass through the key waterway daily, Dar said. “This positive announcement is an important step toward peace and will strengthen our joint efforts in that direction,” he added.
In previous weeks, Iran had already allowed passage for individual ships linked to Pakistan, while Islamabad is helping mediate between Washington and Tehran.

IDF: In the coming days targeting key Iranian military facilities
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) assessed today that in the coming days they will complete targeting almost all key facilities of Iran’s military industry.
The Israeli Air Force has so far targeted thousands of sites linked to Iran’s military industry during the war, about 70 percent, and the IDF states they are now close to covering about 90 percent of key locations used for developing weapons that pose a threat to Israel, reports The Times of Israel.
Iran’s defense industry is highly developed and includes numerous military structures and private companies that produce weapons systems or their components, including ballistic missiles, air defense, naval weaponry, cyber capabilities, and even spy satellites, the Israeli portal states.
Tehran: Nearly 2,000 people have been killed since the start of the war
A month has passed since the U.S. and Israel launched a joint offensive against Iran. Tehran claims that the attacks have hit more than 200 cities and killed nearly 2,000 people.
They also state that at least 93,000 civilian facilities have been damaged, mostly homes, as well as hundreds of medical centers and schools.

Houthis fired another missile at Israel
Yemen’s Houthis fired a second missile at Israel today, several hours after the first attack in which they joined the war between Iran and Israel, an Israeli security source told CNN.
According to the source, the pro-Iranian rebels launched a cruise missile toward Israel. Both missiles were intercepted and there were no casualties or damage, the security official said.
In announcing the first attack, the Houthis said they launched a “barrage of ballistic missiles at sensitive Israeli military locations,” which could create new problems for energy markets.

U.S. ship “Tripoli” arrives in the Middle East with 3,500 Marines
The ship “Tripoli,” carrying 3,500 U.S. sailors and Marines, has arrived in the Middle East, U.S. Central Command announced today, as the Pentagon considers next steps in the war with Iran.
“U.S. sailors and Marines aboard the ‘Tripoli’ (LHA 7) arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility on March 27,” Central Command said.
CNN reported earlier this month that the Pentagon is sending Marine expeditionary forces to the region. Such forces are traditionally used for missions such as large-scale evacuations and amphibious operations involving the transfer of forces from ships to land, including raids and assaults. They have both ground and air combat components, and some are trained for special operations.
A source familiar with the deployment previously told CNN that the presence of forces gives commanders additional options for various contingency scenarios.

JD Vance: America will soon exit the war with Iran
U.S. Vice President JD Vance said that the United States will soon exit the war in Iran.
In an interview with conservative podcaster Benny Johnson, Vance said that although the U.S. has achieved most of its military goals, President Donald Trump plans to continue the war “a little longer” to ensure that the Iranian government is seriously shaken.
“The president will continue with this a little longer to ensure that when we leave, we don’t have to do this again for a very, very long time. We have to neutralize them for a very, very long time and that is the purpose,” Vance said.
Vance said that gas prices have risen as a result of the conflict in Iran, but stated that they will soon fall.
“This is a very, very temporary reaction to what will ultimately be a short-term conflict. I think the president has been very clear on this issue, we are not interested in being in Iran for a year, for two years. We take care of business, we will get out of there soon, and gas prices will fall again,” Vance said.
JD Vance is the most likely chief negotiator in potential peace talks with Iran, White House officials previously said, due to his experience in the administration and his documented opposition to open-ended conflicts abroad.
According to White House officials, Vance is ready to “take his place on the stage,” but only if and when direct negotiations with Iran begin.
