Around twenty people with hoods and masks on their faces, shouting “Fire, everyone out immediately”, broke into the State University of Novi Pazar (DUNP) building, and then forcibly removed students who refused to leave.

“When we were all already outside, somewhere around four in the morning, the police brought Rector Zana Dolićanin and some of the professors into the building,” one of the students in the DUNP blockade told radio Sto plus.

The head of the Police Department (PU) in Novi Pazar, Nermin Ljajić, is also in the university building, and about thirty police officers are at the entrance.

A larger group of students gathered in front of DUNP. They loudly protested and chanted against the rector.

After the unblocking of the higher education institution and the expulsion of the students, the situation calmed down and there were no more incidents, Beta announced.

Let’s recall, students wrote on social networks that during the night, Vice-Rector Rafet Alić, along with unknown persons, broke into the faculty and expelled them.

DUNP students entered the blockade on January 27, and already then they had a problem with the administration that did not want to let them into the building.
