FORMER POLICE CHIEF: The search for the body of the murdered Nešović is a cheap farce, the authorities are trying to reduce the damage!

A member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, lawyer Marko Nicović, stated that the search for the body of the murdered person in the “Senjak” case is a cheap farce and that the authorities, since the media have already been informed, are trying to control the damage as much as they can.

“However, it all looks very clumsy and naive. When you look at the image of the police and special units searching the terrain to find the body of the murdered Aleksandar Nešović, and they are not using drones and tracking dogs for searching the terrain, as is done everywhere else in the world, then it is clear that this is a cheap farce,” Nicović stated in an op-ed for the Danas daily.

He also pointed out that “it will be very difficult to control ten individuals without someone speaking out, given that they participated in some way in the murder, removing the corpse, destroying evidence, and other illicit actions.”

“There is no case in the world where the chief of a capital city’s police force (Veselin Milić) participated in a criminal offense like this in such a manner, which is particularly tragic for the entire security system of Serbia,” Nicović emphasized.

He also stated that “the largest territory in Europe for money laundering through real estate is in Serbia.”

“Logistics for drug smuggling and the flows of black money are provided to mafia groups by members of the authorities of the Balkan states. Since Serbia is the largest state in this area, then it is logical that it is also the most important in this regard,” Nicović warned.

He noted that “parts of the power structure have been involved in this type of criminal business for years.”
