Members of the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) have arrested a manager at Serbian Railways, headquartered in Belgrade, in connection with the collapse of a canopy in Novi Sad on November 1, 2024, which resulted in the deaths of 15 people and left two others seriously injured, RTS reports.
A new anti-corruption operation related to the canopy collapse in Novi Sad has led to arrests in Belgrade.

As part of the same operation, conducted under the order of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, additional arrests are currently underway, according to sources.
