The band Atheist Rap announced that their concert, which was supposed to take place on Saturday, October 4, in Kisač, for humanitarian purposes, will not be held.
According to the band, they responded to the invitation of the citizens’ assembly of Kisač to participate in a charity concert aimed at raising funds for the treatment of two children from the town who are in urgent need of assistance.
“However, when those who decide about public spaces in that town heard who was organizing and who was supposed to participate, they did not grant permission for the use of any public venue. They did not allow the humanitarian concert for the treatment of children to take place,” stated Atheist Rap.
Since the concert will not be held, they asked citizens to donate as much as they can to help the sick children.
“The circle of cities and venues where we can meet and perform live is dangerously shrinking. This one in Kisač is just one among a series of canceled/banned concerts, but none has hurt as much as this one,” the band members said.
