THE DATE IS KNOWN, THE EXPLANATION IS YET TO COME: Vučić announces he will resign on Sunday!

President Aleksandar Vučić told reporters that he will resign on Sunday evening and announced that he will then inform the public about his decision and provide an explanation.

“I will resign on Sunday evening, so I will let you know, I think it will be around eight in the evening. I will inform you, I will invite you all, and you will hear my explanation and everything else,” Vučić said, RTS reported.

Vučić said that in the coming days he will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“In the coming days, before I finish my term, I will also speak with President Putin, so there you have your news. We spoke here, of course, about energy agreements and the Oil Industry of Serbia, we also talked about the work of Russian Railways in our country, about everything,” Vučić said.

President Vučić said he hopes that within two to three days, after speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he will know more about a solution to the issue concerning the Oil Industry of Serbia.

Asked by reporters whether the picture is now clearer regarding a solution for NIS, Vučić said he did not know exactly what to answer, but that he hoped he would know more after speaking with Putin.

“I don’t know what to tell you. I am waiting to speak with President Putin. Then I may know something. I would like to be able to make both the people and myself happy, to be honest, after these months and years of suffering. I don’t know what to tell you. I hope that in two to three days I will have a better and more precise answer for you,” Vučić said.
